Abstract

Recent economic and political fluctuation and crisis in Kurdistan region caused instability in economic policy and political economy. Consequently, these important parameters they stopped developing and it prevents government to have long term development plan in the region. Even the present apparent developments are not sustainable and mostly they just spurt economy. Beside current complicated political structure, lack of suitable theory and knowledge of planning is another reason for current situation in the Kurdistan. In the present paper, economic policy for development based on pathology of theory of new institutionalism which it is appropriate theory for localization, has been investigated in order to find appropriate plan for future by considering current trend of economic policy in Kurdistan. Main question in this study is what are reasons for weak economic policy in the Kurdistan and for answering this question, hypothetically economic instability, weak policy, incomprehension of current special political, economic and social situation and also individualism were recommended.
