Spatial Samples of the Natural Potentials for the Tourism Development in Choman District

This study aims to apply the curriculum of the spatial analysis for the natural potentials in Choman District and the possibility of its investment in the tourism development for the purpose of showing and candidacy of the places that are the most appropriate in tourist investment, and this can be done by depending on geographic information systems and through what the technique includes of spatial analysis tools. Using geographic information systems helps in less cost and making decisions to face environmental problems quickly. The geography of tourism is one of the spatial sciences that has benefited a lot from using these techniques in doing sampling processes and in spatial analysis for the components of tourism through mapping and dealing with the information, data, and maps and its processing accurately at the level of the smallest cadastral units for the purpose of achieving the objective of the study in revealing on the tourism potentials and the ability of its tourism investment in Choman district. The study of tourism potentials and its development, also, can be counted as fundamental and important needs in the success of developmental planning and programs and in the process of formulating of the appropriate policies to benefit from the local resources for the purpose of increasing the rate of investment in its resources to face the fast growth of population.
