The Iranian revolution that started in 1979 was an important and historic turning point. This revolution ended the monarchy's rule in the country. Many politicians, religious scholars and nationalists had an important role in this revolution, including Sheikh (Jalaluddin Hosseini), who emerged as a political, religious and cultural figure in the field of the revolutionary movement in Iranian Kurdistan.
This man increased his fame among the masses through seminars and meetings in the period between 1978 -1979. After the revolutionaries took control of the city of Banah, he was elected by the people as the head of the council in the city.
During his presidency, he played an important role in establishing and spreading security and peace in post-revolution Iran. However, the political events after (Khomeini Revolution) death were so sudden that the Kurdish leaders could not have enough time and opportunity to receive their rights and perform their duties during this period, so these demanded rights were within the right to self- governance.
