The effect of teaching by utilizing Posner’s model in knowledge acquisition of geography lesson and developing decision making ability in female students

Identify the effect of teaching by utilizing Posner’s model in decision making ability and knowledge acquisition of geography lesson of eighth grade female students at Roza basic school in Erbil governorate.
The experimental control took the following into account: (age, intelligence level, parents literate level, students’ ability of decision making).
The researcher used experiment approach depending on the tow-groups design, as the experimental group taught according to Posner’s model method, while the control group according to followed method in the school. At the end knowledge acquisition test performed for both groups. The statistical package of social science (SPSS) used for data analysis; the results show the following:-
Utilizing Posner’s model in teaching geography lesson was effective for eighth grade students in knowledge acquisition and decision making ability comparing to followed teaching method.
