University students' views on the impact of social media on the production of electronic violence

Abstract

The main aim of this study is a quantitative analysis to determine the level of content and nature of social networks and relationships with individuals, as well as social networks and relationships with cyber violence. For this purpose, the use of social learning theory to analyze cyber violence by individuals. Based on quantitative method, questionnaire was used for data collection. The research community was Soran University and the sample size was (380) students who were different in terms of gender and departments. The data analysis tool was analyzed through SPSS. The results show that the content and nature of social networks is related to cyber violence and there is statistical evidence, although the content and nature of social networks is not related to cyber violence according to gender and departments variables.
