The Challenges of E-learning from the point of view of the teaching staff in the universities of the region in light of the Corona Pandemic – a comparative study

The objective of the current research is to identify the challenges of e-learning faced by faculty members in the governmental and non-governmental universities of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq from their point of view, and to identify the differences according to the variables (gender, scientific specialization, and university), and to achieve the objectives of the research, the comparative descriptive approach was used, and the research sample was formed From (308) male and female teachers, they were selected in a simple random way from the research community consisting of all faculty members of the universities (Soran, Salah al-Din- Erbil , Lebanese French-Erbil), and a questionnaire was prepared for this to collect information and data on the point of view of faculty members consisting of five Areas (psychological and social challenges, academic challenges, human challenges, economic challenges, legal-administrative challenges), where their validity and stability were verified using a number of statistical methods, then they were distributed electronically and on paper to the research sample, and the research results concluded that the faculty members The three universities face real challenges at varying levels between universities, and based on the results of the research, a set of recommendations and proposals were presented to the authorities related to the subject of the research.
