Criminal Liability for Remote Killing Crimes Using Artificial Intelligence as a Model: “Drones” (Comparative Study)

This study aimed to clarify the provisions of criminal liability arising from remote murder crimes using artificial intelligence, especially drone technology, or what is known as “drones.” This type of technology is used in a variety of fields, starting with aerial photography and monitoring. Environmental to military and security uses. However, there is an increasing use of drones in terrorist attacks and murder, which raises the legal challenges that have arisen as a result of this technological development, and issues of criminal liability also arise around the use of artificial intelligence in remote killing crimes using drones.
The study relied on the use of the descriptive and analytical approach in addition to the use of the comparative approach. This study included three sections: It dealt with an explanation of the nature of drones.
And its relationship with artificial intelligence technologies, identifying the elements of murder crimes using drones, and finally learning the position of Arab legislation on confronting murder crimes from a distance using drones.
