Geographical Analysis of Religious Services in (Shawis Society) Using Geographic Information Systems (GIS)

Religious services are considered one of the most prominent services provided to the population in any society and city, because these services are directly related to human life, especially in Islamic societies, and are considered a key factor for the development of any society, which is the type of religious activities represented by religious institutions, which include a mosque, a mosque, a hall of religious events, a hospice, a Quran memorization centre, and a cemetery.

The purpose of this study is to analyse the characteristics of the location and function of the services, identify the shortcomings and find appropriate solutions to them. To achieve the goal, the research is divided into four main axes: in the first axis, the concept of services and the study area are discussed, in the second axis, the geographical distribution of the characteristics of their distribution is explained, in the third axis, the evaluation of the location and function of services is discussed, and in the fourth axis, the weight of the population distribution centre and the distribution of services are discussed, and the study concluded that the study area did not have any shortcomings in terms of the number of religious services such as mosques and mosques, but the number of religious services was much higher. of scale
