A geographical assessment of the natural potentiality of Ecotourism in Mergasor district

Most touristic areas are affected by various environmental changes, pollutions and human mistreatment, which affect environmental resources, especially when tourism is on rapid and continuous growth. The study’s aims is the assessment of the most important natural potentiality for the establishment and development of Ecotourism in the District of Mergasor as well as the selection of the best sites for Ecotourism and Ecolodge. The study is divided into four parts: the first part is devoted to the literature review including the concepts of description and previous studies; the second part is devoted to study area and methodology. The third part is about natural potentiality and its analysis and the last part is the results of the study in addition to the discussion. Moreover, there are a number of conclusions and suggestion to develop ecotourism and eclogue in the study area.
