Reflection of political discourse in news content in new media It is an analytical study of the news of NRT website

Abstract

The aim of this study is to identify the frameworks, reference forces and active forces used in the political discourse of the new Kurdish media to describe political issues and events. The study is a descriptive study using survey method and relied on content analysis approach. The research community includes news websites, including NRT website, which was identified as a sample of research and analysed 435 news websites during the year between 1/11/2021 and 31/10/2022. The most important findings of the study are that most of the frameworks used in the site were responsibility, conflict and economic consequences of issues and events in the Kurdistan Region, criticizing the two main forces of governance and the experience of self-government.
