The title "Types of marriage and its conditions in the recorded laws of Babylon and Assyria" is based on the fact that the Babylonian and Assyrian laws, as two of the oldest and most important laws in human history, paid special attention to the family and the organization of social relations and rights. Individual duties of the family within the framework of the laws are emphasized in such a way that they can be studied from different perspectives, and their different dimensions include various interpretations.The research is devoted to the types and conditions of marriage in Babylonian and Assyrian laws reflected on society, in which the social dimensions of this aspect shown in the articles and legal provisions, based on a number of scientific sources and the opinions of scholars and researchers. In addition to the summary in Kurdish, Arabic, and English, the list of sources, and the most important results, this study consists of three main topics as follows:
