Syntactic Cohesion and its Effect in Intertexual Coherence (AL-bayyinah’s Surrah as a Case Study)

Abstract

The study aims at observing the grammatical cohesion tools that appear on the apparent surface of Surat Al-Bayyinah. Also it raises its function to achieve the textual coherence between its parts in terms of syntactic and semantic structures, The grammatical conjunctions that have occurred in the Surah, and wich effectively contributed to achieve coherence between the sentences are:

Referring, Deletion and Linking. The research has concentrated on these tools by locating them in the Surah, textually analyzing the examples, and then explaining their influence in the creation of textual coherence in the light of the science of textual language.
