Abstract

Abstract

Speech act theory is one of the most important and prominent theories in the science of language pragmatics that examines linguistic functions and their impact on social interactions. Declarative speech acts are one of the types of these acts in searle's five-level classification, which, relying on the speaker's social or occupational status and position, create real changes in the outside world or the state of the addressee. The present study, focusing on administrative writings from salahuddin university, attempts to identify and analyze the patterns and linguistic strategies of these acts. In this paper, administrative writings were examined as structured and formal texts that play an important role in transmitting information, communicating decisions, and facilitating organizational communication. Analysis of real examples shows that declarative acts in these administrative writings create legal, legal, and organizational changes by using official language and institutional authority. The results of this study indicate that key elements such as the text of the administrative writings, the language of the actor, the conditions of institutional legitimacy, and the formal form of correspondence play a decisive role in realizing the effectiveness of declarative action.

By providing a detailed analysis of practical examples, the present study not only contributes to a better understanding of the role of language in creating and consolidating administrative positions and institutional power, but also can provide guidance for improving administrative writing skills and enhancing the efficiency of organizational communication.
