Due to the importance of the geographical location of the city of Rwandz, being a mountainous area characterized by ruggedness and its location on the strategic Hamilton road that connects Iran to Erbil, the city fell for the period between 1958 and 1963 under the influence of changes that occurred at the Iraqi and Kurdistan levels, including, for example, the revolution of July 14, 1958, this revolution that was the reason for the return of a group of people of Rawandz who had accompanied Mullah Mustafa Barzani of the Soviet Union, in addition to the emergence of the conflict that existed between the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the Iraqi Communist Party in Rwandz.
