Proposed strategy for the development of sports tourism in Iraq's Kurdistan region

Abstract

The research aims to identify the level of sports tourism in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq? Develop a proposed strategy for the development of sports tourism in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq? The research community included the staff of the Tourism Authority and sports specialists at the Ministry of Culture and Youth, the Olympic Committee Members Authority and the Excellent Sports Clubs Committee in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. The sports tourism scale (Hammam and Barzan. 2022) was applied in its final form consisting of (46) paragraphs that included six axes - on a sample The study was concluded with results and on the basis of which a proposed strategy was developed by the researchers to develop sports tourism in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
