The development of contemporary Kurdish poetry is intricately connected to the evolution of poetry on a global scale. Following the emergence of the Ruanga and Kufri groups, Kurdish literature witnessed the rise of Contemporary Poetry from the Kurdish Region, with numerous poets subsequently following in their footsteps. In addition, it becomes apparent that similar to poetry worldwide, contemporary Kurdish poetry has experienced transformations in terms of linguistics, content, and style.

Furthermore, this study aims to delve into the distinguishing characteristics of Contemporary Kurdish Poetry to identify and analyze these characteristics by utilizing Sabah Ranjdar's poems as illustrative examples
