Precipitation is one of the five elements that make up the climatic elements. , And it is necessary to conduct studies in any geographical area. In this research, the quantities of rainfall in the Sharbazir region were scientifically highlighted through studying and analyzing the data recorded in four climatic stations (Chwarta, Mawat, Barzenja, Sewail) (2000-2006), and the data of these stations represent the states of precipitation in the northern, eastern, central and southern regions of the studied area, which is considered as a homogeneous geographical area with a similar component located to the east of Sulaymaniyah governorate.
There are many reasons that affect rainfall levels in the region compared to the rest of the governorate, like geographical location, topography, temperature and pressure degrees In general, according to the data, the annual rate in the region is (927.3mm). At the Chwarta station, which represents the central and western parts of the region, the total annual was (799.3mm) forming percentage of (21.5 4%). Whereas in Mawat and Barzenja stations the annual rate were (899.4mm) and (898.8mm) forming percentage (24.10%) and (24.22%) respectively.
