Abstract

This study, entitled  -“The Reflection of Social Mask in Kaka Mam Botani’s novel ‘Dirz’, is a critical and practical research as well. Mask is a type of elementary form by which a human being wears as soon as possible so as to be known, as he/she intends, in the society.

This elementary form has been described and analyzed by Carl Gustavo Yung. Mask whether as a phenomenon in life or as a phenomenon in literary texts, has been reflected, and has attracted the attention of writers.

Since the onset of history, mask and masking had become a general unconscious and had turned away from individualism. The phenomenon is genetic, and is transformed from one generation to another.

The study comprises two parts and some axis. in the first part, the concept and the definition of Mask have been stated. The purposes behind using Mask have been dealt with in this part. The second part studies the application of these purposes and different forms of Mask on the novel. The forms are religious, social and political as well. Finally, the drawn conclusions and references are presented
