Informal request style in Kurdish language according to social structure

This research which is entitled (Informal request style in Kurdish language according to social structure) sheds light on request style within family in Erbil city.

The research as a part of sociolinguistics uses quantitative method. The research utilizes (analytic-descriptive) model and the data has been collected through a designed and specific questionnaire. At the same time (SPSS) program has been used in order to analyze the collected data which is a reliable program.

The research questions are; how is the process of request style between speaker and listener in a family? Which type of strategy has used? Do social structures have impact on request style?

The research has divided into two parts; the first part covers the theoretical background of request style and its strategies, the second part deals with the impact of gender, age, education and social class on informal request style in Kurdish language.
