Mohammed Pasha, Chief of the Jaff Tribe (1814-1881)

Abstract

The study which concluded historical study about the political role of Hama Pasha (King Hama), the leader of Jaff tribe during the era of (1881-1814). The study is academic study to determine the active role of Hama Pasha in the different periods by scientific way which divided into three different parts:

The first part, includes relationships between Jaff tribe and kingdom of Baban, moreover it can be focused on inside conflicts of Jaff tribe and the complicity of baban kingdom of Jaff tribe situations. 

In part two the main changes are mentioned which happens in the middle of 19th century in the region. And leads to deceptive tribe crisis as a main power to political competitions between Othman empire and Qajari, the role of Hama Pasha in the conflicts between these two countries especially after  Second Arzaroom agreement in 1847, after that produce co working  between two mentioned countries to escape tribe role.

In part three as a last part, cause and reasons behind killing Hama pasha were clarified under the light of Qajar and Othman empires.
