Abstract

Kurdish novel appeared about a hundred years ago, compared with other literary genres it is not a long time as well as in other nation’s literature. Because the novel is an influential genre, it went through a set of stages. The last stage that the global novel achieved is the Meta-Fiction, which some say is a new literary genre and others say is a new form or a style of the novel.

There are many changes that occurred in the Kurdish novel, the changes happened so fast. Nowadays some Kurdish novelists who are few in number but have a strong impact use the newest technic, forms, and styles.

Karwan Kakesur is one of the novelists who strongly took features of Meta-Fiction as principles for writing his novel to the extent that most of the characteristics are present in “Kanali Meymune Chekdarekan”.
