Journalists' use of electronic newspapers as a source of information about the Russian-Ukrainian war - a field study

This study aims to identify the extent to which journalists use electronic newspapers as a source of information about the Russian-Ukrainian war, and the effects achieved as a result of these uses.

The study sample includes journalists in the Kurdistan Region - Iraq as an elite group in society and users of electronic newspapers of different age groups, as well as males and females. The total number of the study sample was (340) respondents, and it was distributed to the respondents online. According to an intentional accidental sample,which is the sample available on the Internet.

The main conclusions of the study were summarized as follows:

1. A large percentage of journalists use mobile phones to obtain information about the Russian-Ukrainian war, and this embodies the strength and extent of its spread among journalists and its dominance over other means.

2. A large proportion of the respondents depend in following up the latest developments on the Russian-Ukrainian war on the reports of correspondents and delegates of news agencies, and this may indicate that they are more aware of the sources of information transmitted from the site of the event.
