Abstract

AbdulRahman Sharafkandi-Hajar Mukriani 1921-1991, one of the political and intellectual figures in contemporary Kurdish history, had a significant role in the Kurdish people’s liberation movement, Appeared on the political and intellectual arenas of East Kurdistan in the early 1940s. A prominenet member of Kurdish associations and organizations such as the Kurdistan Freedom Party 1938, Zhe-Kaf Association 1942, in 1946 he was the representative of Qazi Mohammad to negotiate with Iran. After the fall of the Republic of Kurdistan in 1947, came to southern Kurdistan and Iraq, in 1953 participated in World Youth Festival in Romania, due to the pressure of the Iraqi police, fled to western Kurdistan, played a major role in national awareness and the formation of the PDK in Syria. After 14 July Revolution in 1958, He returned to Iraq, continued struggle alongside PDK. After the collapse of Aylul revolution in 1975, returned to Iran and passed away.
