Title Style and Character naming in Karwan Omer Kakasur‌s novels

چکیده

This research is entitled "Title Style and Character naming in Karwan Omer Kakasur‌s novels". Title has a significant foothold in novels. It, at the outset, attracts the attention of the reader. Thus, novel title does not appear as an ordinary element. And that is why a novelist wants his novel title to have deeper meanings which prompts the reader to unravel them. This research is concerned with the way Karwan Omer Kakasur names his novel characters. Character names are parts of artistic structure of novels and can carry the trait of the characters. This is illuminated in some novels of Karwan Omer Kakasur.

The current research, which is part of a doctoral thesis, consists of an introduction and two chapters. The first chapter deals with the style of the novel titles. The second chapter highlights the style of character naming in the novels. Finally, the conclusion to the research, references and a summary of the Kurdish written study in Arabic and English are presented.
