Methods for Presenting the Main Characters through the Narrator in Husam Barzanji's Novels

الملخص

This study deals with the main characters in the novels of Husam Barzanji. It attempts at demonstrating the effectiveness of the characters and their role in the novels studied. It determines the methods that the Novelist relied on to manifest the characters of his novels. It also reveals the technical methods used. The researcher analyses the role of the narrator in highlighting the function of the main characters, their structural features and their technical aspects. The paper consists of two sections:

Section one deals with types of the main characters and narrator.  It specifies the relationship between them.In the second Section the methods of presenting the two main characters, namely developing and flat, are dealt with.

Finally some conclusions are stated. The research ends with a list of the references
