Abstract

This research is a way to present the content of the praise poetry of the Baban princes within the framework of Plato's theory, which is the popularity of praise poetry.

Praise is one of the subjects that constitutes the content of poetry along with other subjects. This purpose is reflected in the intellectual level of the text , based on the influence of morality and public benefit such as praise poetry, especially praise of heroic leaders, which he considers to carry an appropriate content and public benefit.

Kurdish poetry is not excluded from this kind of poetic purpose, so from this point of view, these poems, which carry the content and purpose of praise, are discussed in the Baban poetry school, especially these poems written for the emirs of Baban Empire and their warriors. The existence of such poems is interpreted and evaluated in terms of Plato's views and principles of acceptance of poetry. For these poets, the positive and social impact of praise poetry in the Baban poetry school is presented As a result of historical information, evaluation and analysis of the poems, we can understand the artistic aspects of this poetic purpose.
