Manifestation of modernism in Parvin Etisami's poems

Modernism is a set of ideas and lifestyle and social organization that replaces traditional ideas and styles and includes all aspects of individual and social life. This current of thought was formed from the West and reached Iran during the constitutional period. Familiarity of Iranians with Western civilization brought about many changes in most areas of people's lives. Poets in this period, as intellectuals, were aware of the issues and problems of the society and reflected them in their poetry. Parvin Etisami is one of the poets who is influenced by the new worldview and reflects the elements and components of modernism in her poems. In her poetry, although the form of the poem is the same as the classical form, the content of her poems contains new ideas. This research aims to investigate and analyze the most important components of modernism in Parvin Etisami's Divan. The result shows that women, humanism, learning science, antityranny, justice, defense of the oppressed, secularism, etc. are among the significant components of modernism in Parvin's poetry.
