'Repetition in Abdullah Pashew's poem 'Sadan Sala'' (Hundred Years) is the title of the research paper. The paper attempts to describe the technical methods of repetition in the structure of poetic texts.
Abdullah Pashew is one of the famous modern Kurdish poets. He has had a great role in revitalizing Kurdish Poetry. Repetition is one of the outstanding features in his poetic style. In addition to filling internal melody of poetry, he has more intentions and objects in using the techniques of repetition.
The paper is important, as on the one hand, it works on the techniques of repetition at the level of poetic structure, and on the other hand, it describes and studies the denotative meanings of repetitive items. The paper is likely to be a good resource for further studies as there are few resources in Kurdish language in this respect.
