Drafting Constitutions According to the Venice Commission Standard. The topic addressed in this study is the standards for drafting constitutions according to the criteria set by the Venice Commission, an advisory body of the Council of Europe that assists countries in drafting their constitutions based on the principles of democracy, human rights, and the rule of law. In this study, we employed an analytical approach to examine the standards established by the Commission for constitutional drafting. The main issue this study seeks to address is the obstacles to applying these standards, particularly whether they can be used in drafting the constitution of the Kurdistan Region.
