Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the characteristics of documentaries on Rudaw TV. This research is a descriptive research and used content analysis method.

The main research tool is the content analysis form The research found that Kurdish language is used more in Rudaw documentaries and reflects the practical aspects. One of the most important recommendations of this research is that due to the importance and necessity of documentary films, there should be a special Kurdish television channel in this regard.
