In the second half of (7th AH, 13th AD) century until the (8th AH, 14th AD) century, some Turkmen emirates in Anatolia were established such as (Jandari and Ottoman) emirates in north, and (Qramani, Ashrafi, Hamidi, Dulqadir, and Ramadani) emirates in middle and south of Anatolia. Also, from the western side each of (Garmiyani, Aiden, Sarokhan, Qarasi, Mantasha) were established.
After the establishment of these emirates and the collapse of the Seljuk Rom state, the Turkmen emirates tried to be the legacy of the Seljuk state and to be the first power in Anatolia such as (Qramani, Ottoman, Garmiyani) emirates. Thus, there were many military confrontations among these emirates that lasted till (8th AH, 14th AD) century. The Ottomans were able to put all the emirates under their control and become the first power in Anatolia. After this, the princes of these emirates tried to regain power and sought refuge with Timur Lenk and asked him to come to Anatolia and attack the Ottomans. This was accepted by Timur Lenk. So, preparations began for the attack on Anatolia and the Ottomans after the year (800 AH, 1398 AD). The Timur Lenk were able to defeat the Ottomans in the Battle of Ankara. As a result, the Turkmen Begs (chieftains) saw it as an opportunity to regain their power in their emirates.
