This research, entitled “The Constitutionalization of the Kurdistan Region-Iraq as a Mechanism to Establish Regional Identity and Ensure Equal Citizenship within the Framework of the Iraqi Federal System,” examines the strategy for drafting a future constitution for the Kurdistan Region-Iraq as an effective tool for strengthening cultural identity, protecting the distinct national and historical character of the people of Kurdistan, and ensuring equal constitutional citizenship within the framework of the Iraqi federal system. The research seeks to provide a comprehensive and balanced approach by combining theoretical analysis with practical insights, linking Iraq’s constitutional experience with comparative jurisprudential approaches. Its goal is to formulate a forward-looking constitutional vision grounded in respect for pluralism and the reinforcement of national unity
