Abstract

Directive (Directive speech acts) are not only linguistic acts but they perform functions , explaining the relation between conversational partners .That is , language reflects  the Speaker's behavior  and affects the listeners via  these directives. This paper  is entitled ' Directive Speech acts in the protocols in Kurdistan Parliament ' .It is an attempt in Illustrate the Directive Speech acts  in    Kurdistan Parliamentary talks .It is a pragmatic  study and works within the framework of the Speech Acts  theory .It employs a descriptive analytical approach to explain  the protocols being discussed a bout in Kurdistan Parliament. This paper  sheds light on  an introduction  on directive  speech acts ,Illocutionary   acts ,the significance  of directive  speech acts along with  the analysis  of some of the directive   acts  in the Kurdistan parliament protocols Eventually ,a English and Arabic abstracts are given in end the of the paper.
